What does Probonall mean ?+
Probonall is the contraction of latin phrase pro bono translated by “for the public good” and the word “all”, the first being a principle that inspires us and the second keeping in mind that the platform is open to all.
What is the difference between Probonall and crowdfunding ?+
The difference lies in the diversification of the contribution field to human and material concerns : the contributors can help with skills, material support or funding.
Whereas crowdfunding is limited to financial aspect, we believe that there are other ways, other resources, in particular human that are as important and that come into play in the success of a project.
Indeed, all projects ar not equal in terms of progress, needs or resources. That is why it seems logical to widen the field of answers we can provide to problems encountered in entrepreneurship with a global solution.
When some people direct their energy to find a strong team, others work on the development of a prototype or look for funding.
These different stages match different needs that we try to fill through an interface dedicated to all kind of entrepreneurs : professionals, in progress or amateurs.
Can I both register as a project owner and as a contributor ?+
Yes, sure, you can submit your own project while taking part in the development of another one as a contributor. This is in fact the very spirit of mutual aid and solidarity we advocate: find help to then be able to help your turn.
What are the benefits for contributors ?+
There actually may be different motivations for you to take part in a project depending on what you are looking for.
You can either decide to help as a volunteer or agree with the project owner on a reward.
Here are some examples of rewards:
- join the team of a project as a partner ;
- receive the end product ;
- receive a gift ;
- exchange skills ;
- etc.
The goal is to satisfy every user wishes and expectations, both the project owner and the contributor whose time and energy are equally important to us.

Every profile (project owners and contributors) will display a reputation index to indicate seriousness and reliability of the member services.
This index will take into consideration ratings and comments from users.
Any abuse considered a damage may result in the exclusion of the involved user.
